yes, you can store your wine in the fridge after it opened. But how long it will last is dependent on how much is left in the bottle. The fuller the bottle the longer it will last. but the more air space that's in the bottle the more likely it will go bad faster. the best way to preserve and open wine is with either one of these products. Wine Life or Private Preserve. These are nitrogen gas dispensers that help to keep the oxygen away form the wine and keep it from going bad for up to nine or ten days. Yes with out using the gas the taste will quickly diminish after the first 24 hours.

I work for a winery, a week at the most depending on how much of it is gone. Taste it, if it tastes ok than it most likely is. Most of the really weird stuff that can happen to wine takes longer than a week, over a week it can oxidize and taste funny.

use those vacuum stoppers and it will keep the wine tasting pretty much the same as when you first opened it (up to 24 hours).

I'd say you'd have a week at most.

And yes, you will notice a difference. It will lose flavor and aroma, and eventually will smell like death.
