It is not love yet - it is what is known as "attraction." People always talk about "love at first sight," but in reality it starts with attraction. Some people have very strong attraction in the beginning and can barely stand to be apart. Love comes from getting to know who the person is inside - what he/she thinks, his/her morals, if he/she can be seriously committed in a relationship and best of all if this person can be a true friend, because in reality when the flames of passion become a simmer, it is the bond and connection of friendship, also known as "unconditional love," that survives.

maybe instead of just smiling you should say hello. I've heard of love at first sight (not sure if i believe in it) but have you heard of the word lust? it could just be that your both horny and you each like what you see. you could end up getting to know him and think he is a complete loser. get to know him. spend some time with him. have deep meaningful conservations with him. find out what he expects from his women, what he wants for the future, and see if his ideas and beliefs(not necessarily religious beliefs) are the same as yours. what is a colony? you don't live in a town, city, or state? how old are you? well your not Amish because you are on the net, so whats up that a smile means you are in love with out even saying hello. because i smile to at least a 100 different people in a day. does that mean i am in love with them?

Smiling back at him would be a good way to show him that your interested in him. Try talking to him and hanging out with him. Before you know that the two of you are in love.

You are mistaking love with lust. Love is between 2 people that actually know each other and is made stronger as you grow as a couple. Lust is what you feel from across the room.

Don't confuse LOVE with ATTRACTION.
People GROW in love. It's attraction that sometimes get things STARTED.
Take you time. Go for quality and not just the passion.

Attraction is not the same as love. You're attracted to each other, but it's too early to call it "love."

you have to talk to him... so you would know your feelings... and that is also one way of knowing him better before falling in love
