A flickering computer is bound to give you a headache...Sounds like you need to raise the refresh rate on your monitor...75hz is the usual rate to stop flickering.
Just right click on your desktop, click on properties, click on settings, then on...advanced, then click on monitor...to check and/or change your refresh rate...Simple!

I had this promb turned out monitor was loose from pc check connections
