Somewhere between free will and god's plan for us we become very very confused.
Probably because of the contradiction.

I'm not a christian but can offer my mother's (a christian) thoughts on abortion. The following is basically what she said:
"If god didn't want man to be able to perform abortions he would have never placed into motion the discoveries which allowed that sort of operation to be performed. It's best that abortions are not used unless it is medically necessary. When the mother's life is at stake it is better for her to abort than to risk her own death. It would be worse for her to take a risk by continuing the pregnancy because she may be leaving young children behind."
She also doesn't consider a zygote to be on the same level as a full person. More or less she thought it was best not to have an abortion unless necessary, but that it isn't necessarily a sin to have one.
The source link is about abortion and if it is biblical/moral.

Isn't it amazing how God can coincide every ones first breath with the slap on the butt the doctor performs when you first come out of the womb? Isn't God great? Seriously tho, people who take on Gods righteous indignation and judge other peoples mistakes don't read what Jesus teaches, because he said that no servant is equal to whom they serve, and every good Christian claims to serve God. Not the other way around, which gives rise to the fallacy that Man makes God in mans image because men are just plain vain.

God gave every one his soul, many of us die as result of war and or killing by murderers.
How many pure murder case happens in the USA per day?
I am sure you have your statistics.
Those who have committed those murders, are murderers, of people who were created by Allah (God). Many of those killed were young enough, and they come of all ages.
Those who kill babies in the wombs of their mothers are murderers too.
Do you find any difference between the two kind of murderers?
Please no hasty reply, think for few minutes....you will find the second group are much more cruel murderers than the first one.
Why should we through the blame of our mistakes on Allah ( God) HIS knowledge of the future can't be taken as a blame. HE gave us the brain and He will judge us accordingly, if we use our brain in the right direction we will go Heaven, if we use is it in the wrong direction it is Hell Fire. Those doctors are murderers, and the mothers who consent to abortion are double murderers and their end will be...Hell Fire.

OK lets see when is it life, some would say after conception while others say after the first real breath, but I give this thought to you, How can abortion be considered murder when the fetus is technically with out brain function, or motor skills- in which is how life is defined so would it be murder to pull the plug on a computer with A.I.

First of all, it is NOT only Christians who disagree with abortion and call it murder. Second, the Bible says that a baby is a gift from God, but in no instance does God approve of abortion. Once the child is conceived it is the responsibility of the mother and father to protect the young. There-fore it is mankind that does the 'killing'.

I doubt it's going to raise the hell you seem to want it to raise. It's not a very articulate or interesting question. What is your point?
Do you think God could be considered a murderer for creating a universe in which death exists? Well, where's that going to get you? There's no interesting discussion in that contention.
It is very, very sad that some people are so altered and affected by fundamentalism that they will kill doctors who perform abortions. But then, all mental aberration and criminal behaviour is tragic.

A fetus isn't an independent living creature in it's own right, many will abort naturally anyway and if a pregnancy is unwanted I see no reason to become mawkish and sentimental over a bunch of cells that has no nervous system...late abortions are more contentious and that's why it's important to make abortions easy to arrange quickly for women who want them so that the unwanted fetus doesn't have time to develop.

The bible is for the purpose of telling the inquiring minds that want to know, that all we have here is a short temporary life that is full of trouble, the end very soon is death.
When old enough, the one truth we know every day is that we are going to die.
Your soul is all of you. Adam and Eve were created souls. All born souls will die for sin. 1Cor.15:22; As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. So we have the promise to be resurrected souls.
Take a look at the world 6,072 after Eden, who has respect for who's life?

We must remember that God allows free will. Free will can be used for good or bad.
Man is the "murderer" in this sense.
I'm torn on the issue of abortion so I can not fully answer this question from both sides as I have been fortunate enough not to have had to make that choice. Therefore, my answer is incomplete. I'm sorry.

oh, then judas must have gone to heaven coz God knew that he would betray Christ, right? he just did what God expected of him.
the couple, when they copulated, asked God for a blessing. so yes, God gave a gift to them. a wonderful child. but, the couple did not take care of the gift. at least the female didnt, and decided to dispose of this wonderful gift that God has given them.
the time that life starts by the way, is the time the respiration starts to occur. when the body creates a mechanism to produce energy that it needs to go on living. and that my friends, begin at around 2 weeks, when the cardiovascular system of the fetus begins to function. its not the time when we begin to think or feel. remember that the first LIVING organisms here on earth are unicellular organims. creations with no brain. but had life.
