This is gonna sound disgusting and outdated, come to think about it I'm sorta disgusting and outdated, but I used to cook top ramen in my dorm room over an iron. It works. It doesnt come out great, but hot enough to eat and cooks the noodles enough where they arent crunchy.

We had a curfew at my school, tight @ss private Christian college. They would have lights out at 10 or something. Well I came from a place where 10 was dinnertime so I had to create a way to eat something before bed. I would fold up a piece of tinfoil into the shape of a bowl. Put the noodles and water in. About 10 minutes on the upside down iron and BAM, late night snack.

It just might work for your drink.

I'd call United Way First Call for Help. Explain your situation that you don't have a stove or any other means of cooking, you are a college student with little means of income.
They'll probably fix you up with a microwave oven.
you can also by an electric single burner that are really cheap.

You can purchase an electric kettle at Wal*Mart or even a big drugstore chain for about $15-$20. It will heat liquids to boiling in a matter of minutes. You can use it to heat your drinks, boil water for tea, instant coffee, bouillon, hot chocolate, ramen noodles, mashed potatoes, jello and soup.

depends how hot you want it... what I used to do when I was living in the dorms, I used a bigger container, and added really hot watter and put my other bottle in it... and let it sit for 5 minutes, then repeat the process untill it was as hot as I wanted it to be...

If you want to boil it, then I suggest using the bathroom (near a sink... for fire hazard issues) and a tin container, with an alcohol lamp and light it up with a lighter or matches... Dampen a cotton ball or more than one in alcohol and put it in a metal container (not aluminum) under the container with your drink... (making sure that the tin under has a small neck so that the flame will be controlled

Otherwise just add vodka to your drink, you'll warm up inside....:)

Any of these suit you?

Build a small fire in the middle of your dorm room using a magnifying glass and your term papers as fuel. Don't forget to disable the smoke detectors first. If you have never written a term paper and thus lack fuel, walk to the student lounge or cafeteria. They ought to have one you can use.

Try to buy an electric coffee warmer. It's a lot cheaper than a microwave oven.

*inexpensive option: stick a electric heating rod into the cup of drink (u can purchase one at the household dept)

*slightly more expensive option: get an electric kettle (one-tenth the price of a microwave)
