I need to get a list of the foods that can help making serotonin.

I am already aware of the 5-htp is the precurser of the serotonin... so what I want to know is the food or vitamins that we can easily find and eat from out everyday lives.

I think someone said, the green salads and some fruits can help make me serotonin. Is it true?

What else do you recommend?

Thank you.

Triptophin is the closest precursor that you will find. Sunflowers are also good.
SAM-e (suppliment) is also good.

Make sure to load up on your B & C vit's and sugars also need to be present, but that normally is not a prob.

Serotonin I think is a hormone and can't get from food. It can be excreted by your cells by using some specific drugs.
