Faith! You have faith that Antartica exists even though you've probably never been there right? Scientists who believe in God don't need any physical proof or theories to believe in God. Or else, there wouldn't be faith. Or, some take the approach of looking at everything in life that is beautiful or has perfect patterns (you know.. like exactly 10 petals on a flower of every flower of that species, the Golden Ratio in nature..) and feel that there is no way there can't be a God who created them all.

I think you should not look at science as a way that disproves that god exists, but that such complexity in nature could be a prove thatin fact it was created by god. I mean just look at the way we are mad, look at the way we have evolved (does this scare you?). I mean the science is there to show that the world is complex and it so precise - something that could have beenc reated by god. The science does not disprove that god does not exists, nor does it say that he does. Its up to the person to decide, science is there to only make sense of things. Besides, look at how many things have been created by scientists like cars and toilets (these I appreciate especially). I mean if you think that science should not be there and its a work of devil, then maybe you should stop using all the things you came so accastom to. W/o science you would not be able to do things like flying and using the computer. These didn;t just come out of nowhere, people like scientists have created them. Did God ever do anything like this? He created life, and the rest is up to us.

Very simply. If you took the time to look at the complexity of everything around you, there is no way in all time that all those things could have happened by themselves. There has to be a God. I am on my way to being a scientist/engineer and I believe in God very strongly.

I have a few friends who are budding scientists and they see life differently. They take science serious, but they see religion as not believing without facts but a simple logic game. They see it as faith. As the only option for creation, leaving no other (though their "beliefs" would then support several other religions with as much "evidence" as theirs. Another reason religion could have at least been a little more uniform had their been just one true God.... (or shall we blame that one on Satan and sin again, folks?! I am sick of that line..).

People who believe that we, planetary bacilli, can frame the ultimate stuff of the university, know its size, mass and fastest movement must be religious. It is only out of the tradition that "God made man in his image", that anyone would be so preposterously arrogant as to believe such powers of cognition. Hence, most scientists believe in God, or they should if they want to be consistent. Science sprang out of the book religions. It is not inconsistent at all.
There are scientists that do not believe in science, and these are unlikely to believe in God either.

I am a qualified scientist, physics teacher and convinced Christian. There is no conflict!
Science makes progress by using Scientific Method.
Faith makes progress by a different route: the Holy Spirit.
Both of these methods can be in perfect harmony and complement each other.

I know several scientist who relieve in God Our son is like many of them. They were so sure of the Darwin theory and not so sure any more. He now realizes science only knows so much. Beside a theory is only a theory," an explanation who status is still conjectural", not a known fact.!

As a former physics student, I can't imagine a world without God. There is too much data, to much complexity for there not to be. If anything, Science proves God exists if you take the time to look at the data. :)

If the understanding of God is correct then no belief is required. Then every thing as it appears, scientifically or otherwise, is (also) God. This is knowledge, so no belief is required. The Truth is so simple.
