Brain imaging research in humans indicates that Ecstasy causes injury to the brain, affecting neurons that use the chemical serotonin to communicate with other neurons. The serotonin system plays a direct role in regulating mood, aggression, sexual activity, sleep, and sensitivity to pain. Many of the side effects users face with Ecstasy use are similar to those found with the use of cocaine and amphetamines: Psychological Ecstasy side effects, including confusion, depression, sleep problems, drug craving, severe anxiety, and paranoia - during and sometimes weeks after taking Ecstasy. Physical Ecstasy side effects such as muscle tension, involuntary teeth clenching, nausea, blurred vision, rapid eye movement, faintness, and chills or sweating. Increases in heart rate and blood pressure, a special risk for people with circulatory or heart disease.
Also, there is evidence that people who develop a rash that looks like acne after using Ecstasy may be risking severe side effects, including liver damage, if they continue to use the drug. Research links Ecstasy use to long-term damage to those parts of the brain critical to thought and memory. One study, in primates, showed that exposure to Ecstasy for 4 days caused brain damage that was evident 6 to 7 years later.

C'mon you know it's dangerous. One of 3 things will happen.
1. You will have the best night of your life, feel wonderfull all night and terrible the next day and probably a little teary and depressed for 2 or three days after. You will try it again and it will be nice but not so good. You will get tired of it after some time and stop taking it, realising it is not worth the after effects.
2. Your body will react badly to it. you will think you are going to die. You will end up in the emergency room. It may not actually be ecstacy, some pills are cut ith heroin, so it could be much worse ( you could die, either from the effects or from an accident when under the influence )
3. Someone will sell you a dog worming pill and you will be pisssed off
If you are going to do it nothing anyone here says will stop you. Do your research. Ensure you are in a safe supportive environment. Make sure you are happy and in high spirits before you take it. Do not take it if you are scared or nervous in the first place.

Yes it is dangerous. But it is so good. I mean it is not something good to take. I mean now days people are just out for the money. They might not really be selling you Ecstasy and that is what kills people. You can not die from Taking pure MDMA which is what E is suppose to be made of. It use to be used for Medical reasons. A psych and a patient use to both take them at the beginning of a session and it would open each of them up. I wouldn't take it. Because you could die. Because most likely you are not going to get pure E. And you really could die from of the stuff they use to make fake E. If you must do this. Go to. www.dancesafe.org They sell kits to where you can test pills before you take them so you know you will be safe. Taking Ecstasy is one of the greatest feelings in the world. It putts you in another world. But if you don't really know what you are taking. It's not worth dying. To try and get the feeling.

its dangerous because the mixture and ratios of its ingredients are never certain and the slightest imbalace of chemicals could make or break your night.... to top it off, If it has too much speed you will dance your butt off for hours so you need to have plenty of water on hand. If it has too much meth you will feel it after a couple of hours of taking it and will get the nods and come down like a rock... and you better hope your friends are around. And thats the good stuff.... the home made stuff has ingredients which you normally use to clean the toilet.

no, you do not want to take that.
extasy (3,4-Methylendioxy-N-methylamphetamine), belongs to the group of amphetamines:
sideefects:
-high bp, high puls/min, dry mucous membrane, dialated pupils, disability to urinate, laxative effect.
-short time effects are: anxiety, insomnia,
general:
- strong psychological addiction, when being a long time user a so called amphetamine psychosis can be triggered off.
long time effects are:
- (more than 60mg/day o9r even lower), possible nerve damage, severe concentration deficits, degrease of bone density, loss of tooth enamel (due to calcium lack), + many more!
danger:
- the exact level of amphetamines included can never be determined a 100%!
lets say your body weight is about 75kg, 100mg amphetamine may be enough to actually kill you - or even less!
- when using amphetamines, your body runs on a very low level, which means that important warning signals are being switched off (hunger, thirst, and sleepyness are suppressed).
avoiding these signals can result in a physical and psychological damage, due to nutrition lack and a lack of sleep
- being susceptible to infections, psychological weaknesses etc.
=> the amphetamine user will start to neglect their social contacts and duties (school, work, relationships, family and friends)
=> uncertanity where the drugs come from: many drugs are having other ingredients that you are not willing to consume, but you never know what will be in there: koffeine, ephedrine, neutrale substances like lactose or even substances like methamphetamine.
addiction:
- the level of addiction depends on genetic factors as well as from the psychological condition of the user.
so dont do it, its not worth it!
seek help if you need to
good luck
