She does this often. It was once a month and then went away and is now starting back again. This time she has done it 3 times in a month. It usually only lasts a few hours and then she is fine and playing and eating. Her doc says virus, but I think it is something more. Any helpful comments welcome! Thanks!!

she could have a bowl obstruction. when it backs up enough she it will come out the other end. ii work in a hospital and have seen this happen and its not pleasant. keep track of her bowel movements and if she isn't having them at the time she is vomiting i would say that's what it is.

probably she has a small bowel obstruction. meaning the bowels of your daughter cannot be moved and there's no way out down to her rectum/anus that's why she vomits something that smells like poop. Does your daughter feel any pain? Talk to your daughter's doctor again and tell him about the recurrence of the condition of your daughter.

Take her to another doctor, there's no way a virus last that long. And next time you see that doctor say Quack, quack, quack.
