1. If they are allowed to adopt a child is their motivation political? In the 80's gay organization had a goal of adopting children to make gay mainstream. Using a child for a political pawn is wrong.

2. I would give first priority with both gendered families. If the child is given to a female and male to adopt the research shows over decades the differences of male and female influences on a child such as....female babies if hugged and physically cuddled as children by their father, they will be less promiscuous than those whose fathers do not touch them. Also they will be less promiscuous if their father is not having affairs. (FOR some reason it's not the mother that girls look to for directing this behavior).

3. Will no one else adopt the child? Then I would not be against a gay family adopting them as long as they have support for their parenting by other gendered families, and the child's psychological state is in the normal range.

No. I don't give a f**k if it's 2006. Gay people are mentally ill. They actually have psychological problems which result in them being attracted to the same sex. Isn't it obvious that a penis goes in a vagina? Nobody should be puttin there load anywhere else and women should not be grindin on each other. Would you want to live with two psychotic homos? You might as well consider yourself f**ked if you get adopted by gay people. Everyone needs to stop tolerating this bullsh*t. There is only evidence against homosexuality. There is NO viable proof which supports the theory of homosexuality being normal. If you are gay, realize that any child you raise is destined to fail as a functioning sexual intellectual. Because society doesn't want to say something is wrong with you, you are overly confident in your disease. Seek professional psychotherapy and stop destroying normal heterosexual lives.

So many people keep falling back on the old "children need two parents" or "children need a mother AND a father" schtick. Chances are that kids that are available had a mother AND a father, but look where they ended up. Anyone who thinks a child without parents should wither and suffer a practically loveless life as chattle to be shuffled back and forth rather than be provided a stable loving home by an individual or a couple, regardless of sexual orientation, is a complete idiot.

no but it's not because they couldn't be good parents. but look at all the fathers that don't get their own kids and you going to give two gay guys a kid come talk about double standards. maybe that is what all fathers should do in court say they are gay and the courts would hand em over. and two women come on you think a little boy will grow up normal? but hey this is america if your strange and screwed up you get more of a chance than the average person lol

Should a rich drug addict be able to adopt kids??? They can give the kid everything they need, they have free time to go to the pta meetings, and are able to do family things, they just use drugs. Yeah right, both are wrong because either way you are imposing an abnormal lifestyle on a minor child that does not have the rationale to determine what is good behavior and what is bad.

I see no reason, considering the information currently available, as to why gays or lesbians should be disallowed from adopting children.

Current information states that sexual orientation is determined long before the subject even thinks about sex, possibly having even been determined in the very womb itself. (Increased, constant adrenaline during pregnancy has been linked to homosexuality)

Therefore, so long as the would be homosexual parents meet the same criteria that would be heterosexual parents meet, I see no reason for a ban on homosexual adoption.

Two people that have a harmonious and loving relationship, based on committment and friendship could be very capable of raising a child, regardless of their sexual preferences. Hetero couples can also be very dysfunctional parents. So why not look at what really matters. Stability in a relationship and a loving environment.

I think anyone who can give a child a good home should be allowed to adopt.

I think anyone who is financially, physically and emotionally capable of raising children should be allowed to adopt. It doesn't matter if they're gay or not, as long as they're fit.
