Its because she has never really been socialized. My mom has that same situation. Her cat Sassy is a real tyrant. She would rather scratch your eyes out than to look at you. Some cats are naturally like that. Leave her alone and let her do her thing. She will eventually mellow out. Have you had her spayed? That will help things along as well. Good luck

I have always had cats and it seems they need to be held/in close contact with humans early or they stay at least a little wild. Also, if they are frightened by something, then they remember the association and will continue to react long after the event.

My guess, either your cat did not get enough TLC when young or it was frightened by a person and now thinks all people are a danger.

Try hand feeding/ putting before the cat, small amounts of its favorite food throughout the day, instead of a full dish on the floor. Food is the one language cats respond to. Good luck.

Sounds like your cat has been mistreated by humans before and has little or no trust in humans anymore. You'll need to slowly gain her trust by speaking gently to her, cat's are quite instinctive and can tell the difference when someone has good or bad intentions.
I do not think she is possessed at all. People jump to the silly conclusion that cats are possessed if they're not friendly. It could be that she is ill and is making her feel sick enough to not want to be bothered. It's best to bring her to a vet to get her checked out. When cats are not feeling well, they'll feel vulnerable and try to protect themselves and will get very defensive. Think of it this way, if you were a cat and if you don't trust humans, and was feeling sick or ill, and cannot communicate to humans how you feel, wouldn't you get very defensive? Bring her to a vet :)

It seemed to me that your cat had some traumatic experience with human. She might have been mistreated when she was a kitten. Well, it's not impossible to cure her, but you can try this way. Let her gain your trust little by little. When she's caught off-guard, hold her gently and rub her behind her ears every now and then. Give her treats everytime she doesn't hiss at you. Cats are like people in many ways, and to win her heart, you have to gain her trust.

it should be that taking area in with it truly is overstimulating your kitten. i'd propose that in case you pick to play including your kitten you should get a string or a "fishing" style toy that facilitates you to attraction to close some thing for the kitten to bat and chase. As a kitten it doesn't understand that it truly is hurting you. I taught my cat to no longer bite or scratch by technique of putting forward "no" softly then putting the kitten gently on the floor and ignoring her for a jiffy. it is going to take quite a few weeks of this for the kitten to benefit that it is not okay to bite or use her claws. My cat is 14 now and is conscious to no longer use her claws on me, and that she shouldn't bite or nip at me. because you've only had the kitten 3 days, i'd propose giving the kitten time to get used to her new living house, furnish toys that allow you artwork together including her with out your fingers getting on the point of her mouth or claws, and let her come to you for petting. Cats should be overstimulated quite so i'd propose that you only puppy her some circumstances and relax for a jiffy before you puppy her back. If she receives too excited and starts biting or grabbing/clawing say no, and placed her on the floor. she will be in a position to get the concept finally.

Did she just recently start this anti-social behavior? If so, she may be feeling poorly and you might need to take her to the vet. If this has been an on going thing with the cat she just might be a pissy bad tempered kitty. There are some out there like that.

Your cat seems to have some kind of trauma. Has anybody ever handled her roughly, or scared her in some way? Cats don't normally "turn evil". She just seems freaked out of people. Another possibility is that she is in some pain. Cats sometimes get like this when they have abdominal pains. What does your vet say?

Have you ever had your house and your cat blessed by a priest? That's one thing you can do. Does the cat have her rabies and distemper shots? Mabey the cat was abused before you found her. If you have tried all of these things and nothing works, you'll have to have to put the cat to sleep.

my cat does the same thing. Our best advice is to call your vet. Talk to them about this behavior. My cat turned out to have a neurological problem that made her lash out at anyone. We have since put her on meds and she's better. Your baby may have been abused early in life, so she may remember humans as bad. call your vet it can't hurt.
