Well done good sir!
There are a lot of inconsistencies in the bible and the Koran and I'm glad that there is someone less lazy than myself who takes the time to point them out.
However, these a**holes don't have a monopoly on god. I do not follow an organized religion, but I do believe there is more to this place than that which meets the eye.
So does god love children? Neither I or anyone can possibly know for sure as god is an undefinable concept. But I still believe in a benevolent creator, that does love children.
Just as some fairy tail talks about dragons and that I don't necessarily believe them, so I don't believe that god hates children as is evident from your quoted scriptures. They are just thoughts made up by some human mind, and being ridiculously old doesn't make them right.
If God exists, however, then it wasn't born of a human mind, and to believe that some person was capable of capturing what ran through ITs mind is to be a fool.
Thank you for not being one of the masses of automatons.

If you are going to quote scripture my friend ... Which even the Devil can do better than anyone... At least quote it in full context: and also look at the reasons behind the actions God took!! Try studying the whole word of God (The Bible) and look at the bigger picture!! Matthew: 19: 13-14 Jesus Blesses Little Children: 13(A)Then some children were brought to Him so that He might lay His hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them. 14But Jesus said, "(B)Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for (C)the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 21:15 (New American Standard Bible) 15But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that He had done, and the children who were shouting in the temple, "Hosanna to the (A)Son of David," they became indignant We can all quote the scriptures: accept the ones we do like, reject the ones we don't ... twist them here, bend them there to suit our needs, & or excuses!! But it is a totally different thing to be given, or want the understanding of it, and have the faith to believe!! God bless you, & may He open your eye's & your heart to his word. God loves all his children... both young & old!! Thats why He sent Jesus, His son: to Die for us... what greater love is there than that: other than Jesus's love to do his fathers will? Something else not many can understand!!

You assume that once the child is dead, his or her life is over. The evil of the parents would have caused the child to sin and go away from God, but by their death, they are in God's presence, and He can save them from thier parent's sin. Since God knows everything, He knows what is best to satisfy His ultimate plan; to create a group of people who can live in perfect harmony with each other and with Him. All are given the chances they need, to see Him, but many deny that chance to their children.
God takes the children to Himself, proving His love for children.

I can see you have read the Bible Mr. Risin. He does. You are looking at God in the light of this life. God looks at issues in the light of eternity. Is He going to banish those people for eternity? I don't know, we shall only have the answer in the after life but going by his love I'd argue in the negative.

Have you tried reading the New Testament?
Anyone can pull verses from different parts of the Bible to substantiate or bash any stance. One must read in context and in accordance with history and culture.

Stan : "Why would God let Kenny die, Chef? Why? Kenny's my friend. Why can't God take someone else's friend?"
Chef : "Stan, sometimes God takes those closest to us, because it makes him feel better about himself. He is a very vengeful God, Stan. He's all pissed off about something we did thousands of years ago. He just can't get over it, so he doesn't care who he takes. Children, puppies, it don't matter to him, so long as it makes us sad. Do you understand?"
Stan : "But then, why does God give us anything to start with?"
Chef : "Well, look at it this way: if you want to make a baby cry, first you give it a lollipop. Then you take it away. If you never give it a lollipop to begin with, then you would have nothin' to cry about. That's like God, who gives us life and love and help just so that he can tear it all away and make us cry, so he can drink the sweet milk of our tears. You see, it's our tears, Stan, that give God his great power."
Stan : "I thnk I understand."

As with most people that try to make the bible look bad, or disprove other things it says, you have taken everything out of context. God LOVES His children. We are all His children. From before we are born till after we die, he loves us. So my answer, yes. God does love children.

I'm not really much of a church goer or a bible reader. I don't think I even believe in God, but what you have stated, if their is a God, I don't think he liked women and children very much at all. That probably why he invented rapist and pedophiles, as punishment to us.

13 People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them.
14 When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
15 I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."
16 And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.
