Well, I never absent-mindedly just said it back. The time or two it happened I just gave a really passionate kiss that did some distraction. It was a stalling tactic to come up with an explanation for why I wasn't saying it back.

question yourself (the same question) and reserve your answer. the discuss how he feels with him as well as how you feel. discuss the future and if its similar , go with it but if you do not love him you could use him for the sex which is a real shitty thing to do because you could hert him for life or tell him you dont feel the same way and be friends with bennifets if you know what i meen. the best thing to do in my insagnificent opion is to discuss, discuss, discuss. and if you dont feel the same way just go your sepret ways. one last thing if your realy not sure even after you talk take a 2 to 3 week break from each other and see how your feelings change. if it makes you miss and want to be with him more cool, if not break it off.

first of all no matter how u feel remember this is the greatest complament anyone can give.
so if u don't feel the same be nice and gentle when u tell him u don't feel the same. there is no reason to hurt someone who has exposed thier heart.

If you don't know, then I'm assuming you don't love him?
Just acknowledge that you heard him and then tell him where things are at, honestly. Where does he stand with you? Tell him so there are no misunderstandings or upsets.
