Eh I am undecided on this.
1. The whole idea of the Union is supposed to be between a man and woman.
2. I don't believe any special rights should be awarded to someone because of their deviant sexual preferences.
3. But I do agree if 2 people love each other they should be allowed to join in some union.
I think to resolve this we need to come up with a happy medium.

Im not against gay's getting married im just against it being called marriage. Marriage is a religious bond, under God...you get married before the eyes of God traditionally.
And since marriage under God is between a man and a woman...then is just spit in the face of God to have a gay marriage.
I'd be fine w/ it if they just called it something else and maybe not get married in a holy place.
After all why should i respect their lifestyle and belifes when the can't respect mine.
You gotta give an inch to get an inch.

I am 100% against gay marriage. Im against any gay union of any sort. It is one of the reasons I could never vote for a democrat. I think there has to be a line drawn and not crossed as to what is socially acceptable in the country.

I agree. God wasn't against them! He accepted everyone! No matter race, if you were straight or gay or inbetween! If you ate only veggies or only meat! If you lived in Asia or America or Africa! If you wore boxers or briefs! If you could sing or sounded like a scratched up chalkboard!6 years old or 60 years old! Boy or Girl! Slutty or Nice! Super Hairy or Bald and Shiny! What's the difference? What's so bad? Are you just afraid of them? Do you think they're from hell or something? We're all the same and if we're all brothers and sisters then why can't or 'same sex loving" siblings be with us too?

I completely agree with you. Whether gay or straight we all know how to love and want to get married and have a family and do all the same stuff as a straight couple. We are all the same. Just because we may like the same sex does not mean that we have to hide it and not be able to marry the person that we love. I hate the discrimination that is against gays. We are all human you know and we all have needs and wants.

By the definition of marriage (The legal union of a man and woman as husband and wife), marriage between gay people does not exist and it is impossible. Maybe gay union is more logical.
Morally, i think that gay "marriage" or gay union shouldn't be done, for the simple reason that if two people of the same sex are not meant to be together in that way, and also because that kind of love between the same sex does not exist. Gay people say they love their partners because they are confused and disoriented by their past, but physically that kind of love between the same sex is just impossible to occur, and therefore gay union should not be allowed.

Honestly, I don't give a c-r-a-p. Whatever people want to do that makes them happy and doesn't hurt anyone, they shouold be able to do it. And no, i don't believe gay marriage can hurt anybody. The only thing is that the bible can't be rewriten and the catholic religion was meant to exist without gay marriage. Why don't you invent a new religion? Just a suggestion...

I totally agree! There is no reason to surpress someone by keeping them from expressing their love to the person of their choice same sex or not. I definately don't think that it's right in any standing for Pres. Bush to try to make gay marriage illeagal. He's christain and part of that religion is no same sex relations. The constitution clearly states freedom of religion AND freedom of choice. SO WHAT'S THE ISSUE? There should not be one.

I cannot understand why anyone should be against gay marriage. WHY??? One thing is to show the world what you feel and mean - you can do that just as well without being married, but there is a juridical matter too when it comes to inheritence and economic situation.

Can I marry my favorite farm animal or three women if that's what I love? If two men/women can get married, I should be able to under the same arguements. I think I would enjoy three wives. That's what I want! Why do gays and lesbians feel like they have to get married? If they want to be together, write out some vows and goodluck. Who cares.
