If someone male or female is in good shape, healthy, attractive, yet havent found their soulmate,is there an age when they should stop looking, and just hang up the idea?

some of the answers have been what was rather expected unfortunately, and Im not sure what I expected.theyve said never, when youre dead, dont look theyll appear, you shouldnt have to look, just be patient, when youre not looking one will find you. of course this last one means the other person would be looking, and who is to say they are told the same things thus 35,45,50 years of age and still no one respnsible enough or of character to pursue such a relationship. In a society where divorce is nearly 60%,where there are deadbeat dads, spousal abuse, and worse, and millions of others who'd not like this be seek, and never find, hope and never see.

Never look for your soul mate. Most people never find them. Those that do just happen to stumble across them. If you believe in soul mates, there's only one true soul mate in the whole world for each person. What are the odds of finding them?

If you just mean that perfect person who meets most of your expectations, there is no reason to ever give up. You don't have to be actively looking for them. Just take the time to know those around you. They won't be wearing a sign. You'll have to "discover" them.

One should never stop looking for their soul mate. Age has nothing to do with finding your soul mate, some find them at a younger age and some at an older age, but you should never give up finding them, they will show up when you least expect it. And your life will be much better by doing so.

the two big things that determine if I chose a soul mate depends on two things one my age but most of all the money situation if that is not there I do not think I would really pursue a soul mate I would go single after age 50 I think I'd give up 70% of that.

I ask myself that same question every day! And the truth is, I DON'T WANT TO SETTLE. But, hey, that's just a personal preference. There's not a right age to stop looking for your soul mate, but I think you have to remember that there's more than one person who could be your soul mate.

It's never to late to stop searching for your soul mate. However, you may want to stop trying to find the unattainable because sometimes people don't focus on what they have because they're too busy thinking that someone better is out there and it may take time to realize that you've already had your soul mate but you let him/her slip away.

Like a retirement age? Why? I knew a woman whose husband died when they were young, and she raised three kids, worked, etc. When she was 80, she remarried. Why shouldn't she have someone to be with her at that time of her life? Why shouldn't you or I?
