I am an athlete and, due to a painful shoulder injury, i have been illegally taking the drug oxycotonevery few days or so. How much does the drug oxycoton or oxycodone effect overall fitness and muscle growth after workouts?

Continuing pain usually means continuing damage. See a good sports doctor and find out how badly damaged your shoulder is and what you can do about it. Not only will this help ensure that you don't suffer permanent disability in the shoulder, but it will also provide you with legal and appropriate pain relievers if you require them.

Just as you don't continue racing a car with a flat tire until you change the tire, you don't continue using an injured part of your body until you tend to the injury. Pain relievers don't count; they relieve the pain, but the injury remains.

If you are young, what seems like a minor injury right now may actually be a serious injury in disguise. If you don't want it to haunt you for the rest of your life, have a doctor look at it.

oxycoton wont effect muscle growth if taken for a very short period of time, obviously not using the muscle will cause it to deteriorate some and lose strength. be careful though i have known a few to get addicted to this stuff. you are better off taking a break from your work out. working through pain like that with help from a drug this powerful can be very harmful and cause further injury
