No fetish is wrong or right in itself unless someone is abused by it and says so. If someone on the 'net has a moral objection they don't have to partake, do they? I'm sure many amputee people out there would be disgusted and many more thankful, it would depend on the person.

Fetishes are a series of thoughts which manifest themselves as urges and desires. I don't think that it is fair to ascribe a morality to thought, so to answer your question, no, it isn't wrong morally.

I'm sure that most people will find your fetish to be strange, even disturbing. I myself find it to be on the odd side, but that's just me. However, I have heard of this particular type of fetish, so I doubt that you are alone in what arouses you. I would suggest that you keep your fetish under wraps in general because of the lack of understanding that exists.

In my view, as long as one's actions do not directly and detrimentally affect unwilling third parties, they cannot be morally wrong.

As such, unless you are amputating people to feed your fetish, or stalking amputees or whatnot, you are fine. Indeed, any amputees you interact with may well be happy to be met with honest interest, instead of poorly concealed revulsion.

Are we talking about arms or legs? No arms would be kind of a bummer for some things, while the ever-popular, easy access leg amutations have some distinct advantages as fetishes go.

Could you clarify the question just a smidge?

How are you coming with those lamp shades, Mr. Gein? Any problems skinning your vics? I could give you some tips on the proper way to flay.

not morally wrong unless it involves creating amputees.

How can any fetish be morally wrong? Unless you act on it too much!

In my opinion, there's nothing to get you off like a good decapitation or evisceration, but I suppose the hacking of limbs could give me a good stiffy, at least. . .
