100% honest. No need to tell them that stuff--they can enjoy Christmas gifts just as much knowing that they have received gifts from people who love them than some big man in a red suit. As far as the tooth fairy, we just pull 'em and press on!

I am Christian and yes we have always had Santa and the Easter bunny for our kids. It is something our family has done for generations and we see it more as a fun magical part of Christmas but we also celebrate the true meaning of the day such as Jesus' birth. If the child asks us if there is a real Santa we tell them no, it's just for fun. I do not see any harm in this, but some people may see it differently.

Lying is considered a sin according to the Bible. Do the best you can to be honest. It's your honesty that carries far. Your kids will respect you more if you are honest.

I am not a parent, but my mom and dad told me this because they wanted me to enjoy my childhood. Nothing wrong with having a little fun.
