My guy friend learned how to bellydance a while ago, he is not an expert but he knows basic things and he said he wants to do it for my cousin (guy). He just got his belly button pierced yesterday and is really excited about showing him. Is this weird to you or is it just me? He needs to get in touch with my cousin, he got a new number and wants me to give it to him so he can meet up with him. But I don't know if I want to do that. I mean...all of this just sounds weird. If i don't give him the number am i wrong and again, is this abnormal or is it just me?

Well, guys dancing isn't so wierd... you don't think us girls are going to dance by ourselves even if it is just bellydancing? I happen to love belly dancing and I am very proud of what I know (yet I would not do it in front of anyone other than a class, just because I'm inhibited). If I were a guy and I had that ability, I'd want to show it off as well. I'd give him the number, unless ofcourse your cousin wants nothing to do with him. I find it a bit out of the ordinary, but then again what harm could possibly come from a number being exchanged? Okay, worst case scenario, both the belly dancing buddy and your cousin run off together and dance their little booties off and possibly go gay. But I doubt that will happen. If you don't give up the number how upset would your buddy be? Well, that is just my opinion, in the end it's all up to you, friend!

Some men do belly dance...we have a Moroccan restaurant in my area that has belly dancers, including a guy that does it every couple of weekends. Really, a man doing it (in a man way) can be nice. *wink wink*. BUT, if your friend is so eager to show your cousin...I think he may have a thing for your cousin.

there is 1 guy in my bellydance troupe - he's not the type to show off ANYTHING so I can't base my answer on him -
But bellydance is addictive and you want to show everyone what you can do - and guys don't usually do it - so I bet your friend is EXCITED to show another guy -
it's REALLY hard and takes a lot of strength and muscular control -
I think it's cool

Let your cousin decide if he's interested but your friend could be gay, maybe he's unsure if he's gay, has he expressed he'd like to dance for any girls? have you ever seen him with any girls?
