Do christians tell their kids there's a tooth fairy? Or Santa? KNOWING that you are lying to them?

Speaking of which, there are not a lot of people who make stuff up to appease their children and if you do, perhaps you need to see a doctor of the mind as soon as possible.

i repeat SHUT THE *** UP!!!!!. Let the kids be kids . Who gives a honky!!! . Leave the kids alone! Give them stories, santa, tooth fairy , God , fables. I think you lost touch with your inner child and forgotten what it's like to feel the magic and wonder as a child. You would make a horrible father if you denied your kids that stuff.

The answer lies with adults only... who heard the same stories from their parents!! What I feel is major role is played by the dear world or an ideal world that people define for themselves. And dus to the dynamism of today's world those dreams are very difficult to achieve and realization of those dreams seem quite far-reaching...

Hence they adults try to articulate their dream world to their kids... they try to feed their kids, dreams....

To conclude, they want to share their dreams with people but they can't and hence they make stories!

I don't know who it is that you got that from but EVERY parent I know makes up stories to tell their children.

Either there is more to this than you are saying or you are simply trying to stir up trouble.
