This is a question that, for reasons I don't understand, is still hotly debated these days. To me, the answer is clear.
I have always been convinced that a person is genetically prone to homosexuality.
In other words "born" that way as opposed to being a "product of their environment".
When I was very young there were two twin brothers in my neighborhood...one had the characteristics of being gay or effeminate while the other did not.
The effeminate twin was constantly teased by the other kids (this was shameful behaviour).
Consider they were both raised together, in the same environment and yet had such opposing sexual orientations.

there is not any such element as a genetic deformity. there is this variety of element as genetic mutation which causes deformities. nevertheless, it really is demanding to teach that this can be a deformity with no need prevalent how some thing is assume to appear like first. also, this study did not fairly teach all too a lot about the documents of the study or the outcomes. were those females attempting to have sexual sex with different females? Did they attempt this on men? what volume of the ladies became "lesbian" after the genes were manipulated? I continually take analyze outcomes with a grain of salt....or perhaps as the media comments it, I frequently take the completed shaker.

No it is not genetic, it is lust. It is a choice. You have to choose what is right, even if you are tempted by what is wrong. Why do you think gays have been in the closet? They have been hiding because what they are doing is wrong. Their conscience tells them this is true. That's why they are not accepted in society. That's why God hates homosexuality. It is not natural or right.

Thats kind of my opinion. I am 100% straight but I have gay and friends. This one guy especially hates that he doesnt' like girls. He has always liked guys and has never really felt comfortable just being him. I think thats too bad because he is a great person. You know what i mean? Why would you choose that?!

It's not handed down from parent to child, but I think it has a lot to do with hormones, and so on. Not to beat a stereotype to death, but a lot of gay men are effeminate, showing a high exposure to estrogen, and a lot of lesbians are masculine, showing a high exposure to testosterone. I have gays in my family, and I think it has to be within your biological structure, because I doubt very much they would have chosen to be the way they are. I don't believe you can choose with whom you fall in love.

nope its not genetic and you can never choose you're sex either. God creates a man and a woman that means be content if you're a man then act like one and live like a man.

It is a sin. God said one man with one woman. Not one man with one man or one woman with one woman. Homosexuality is a choice of lifestyle. I have maby friends who are and many who used to be but have changed their lives back around. Please, don't get wrapped up into perv.
