"Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted." --Jesus Christ
I interpret this to mean those who are weeping for the wretched lives they live, and for others who are in their lives. what do you think?

Mourn for the loss of others. Mourn when a loved one dies. You should never stop mourning the loss of a close friend or relative.

I mourn the time that I lost replying to such a pointless question. Try reading the passage in context what what's around it and I'm sure it will make more sense to you.
Then go outside for a walk. Look at the birds in the trees. Talk to people in the street. Give money to a homeless person. Sit on a bench and spend 15 minutes looking (really looking) at the people passing by. Try to imagine what they are thinking, their joy and their sorrow.
Then go home and read the passage again. It will make sense.

Mourn what? People die. I feel bad that I will never see that person. Mourn? As good a word as any.

huge question, and quite valid especially today. It is about being human, and that's something many people try to ignore these days.
