why is it that some parents say that they had thier babies naturally?

i thought that u must have ur penis right inside the vagina to have babies...didnt they have sex???than why do they say they had thier children naturally??

Having a baby naturally means delivery without any drugs used.
The woman is completely conscious, and feels every bit of pain that childbirth causes, not to gross you out or anything, but we also feel our skin ripping, allowing the baby to come out of a very small openimg, even though dialated. With some women, it's necessary. As in my case, my first child was born 2 1/2 months premature, the drugs would have helped me, but could have hurt him. Others just choose to do it naturally. They want to ba awake to experience the birth of their child.

Speaking technically the meaning behind this statement is you have a choice and sometimes don't but a seccairian is where they make an incesion in the abdomanal region and remove the baby from the incession the "natural way" as you put it is where the baby actually comes out the vaginal canal.

natural birth just means that the baby came out through the vagina. it means the the mother did not have a C-section which is opening up the stomach somehow to take the baby out. the C in C-section stands for ceasar because it is believed that julius ceasar was the first one to be born this way.

when they say they had their baby naturally they meant natural child birth without any operation or anything....sometimes the baby has to be taken out by an operation due to some complications..that operation is called a cezarian..but just the old method of pushing it out like u might have seen on tv thats what means having a baby naturally...hope i cud help...

There is also invitro fertilization and other means of getting pregnant. THey probably meant they had their baby the natural way (delivering through the cervix), and not via a c-section (a surgical procedure).

O dear!.. It either mean their baby is delivered thru vagina ie non-surgical method / caesarian OR it's thru the method you described ie not with Assisted Reproductive Method eg IVF.

naturally can also mean with out an epideral. ( its a huge needle put into your back, that sends pain medicine into the body)
Or without any other meds. They go through labor without and medications for pain.
