This family has 5 cats and 2 dogs that are flea free and with no poisons. I vacuum regularly ( especially in spring and summer) make sure to empty bag each time.(staplers handy) We also give each animal a dose of brewers yeast and garlic powder in their food each day.(a pinch each cat and the dogs get a whole pill each)The fleas hate it and stay away. You can also rub brewers yeast into their fur. Please make sure it is brewers yeast. this can be bought at any vitamin place. There are no side effects that i know of. We've been doing this for years have had no problems.

It is impossibel to keep them off but you can control how many they have by using a flea comb. This will also remove many of the eggs. My cats love it ! Be careful when you start, the cats may bit the fool out of you when you start to comb their tummies.

Blue Dawn Dish Soap!
Wash your cat and dog (if there is one) with it, be careful not to get it in their eyes. It kills the fleas, and then after you rinse it off, take a flea comb and comb him/her. Let him/her air dry, and repeat the combing. I have been using this method for a long time now. It works

Take her to your vet and let him/her tell you what to do. A vet is as important to a pet's health as a doctor is to us. Any problems with a pet must be dealt with using a vet and your animal will live a long and happy life.
