I am not Spanish, but I believe the word is Spanish and it means budding, good friend, or maybe comrade. I think I am close to its meaning.

What not many people around here know is that "Amigo" does not only mean "friend" in Spanish, but it also means "Friend" in Visaya, which is a Filipino dialect.
