Please don't breed ANY cats! especially not related ones. If you want kittens, try going to a rescue group and offering to foster an expecting mother or a mother with kittens. They will probably jump for joy and gratitude.

Are you people from West Virginia? This is like asking "can brothers and sisters breed?" and I am hearing all types of answers. First, WHY BREED when cats are DYING in the shelters everyday! There are MILLIONS put down, so if you are even thinking of breeding, please die now, and that includes these IDIOT "breeders" that breed so called pedigree cats, that coincidently, ALSO get put down en mass EVERYDAY! So why breed? Secondly, why risk it-would you do it with your own children? My guess is yes, you are probably from good old West Virginia....
TRANSLATION for the cerebrally handicapped: ADOPT A PET ONLY FROM A SHELTER DO NOT BREED CATS AND DON'T BREED CHILDREN UNLESS YOU HAVE EXCESSIVE NEURAL ACTIVITY!

What kind of a question is this? Of course the cats can breed. Cats, dogs, animals in general do not distinguish between siblings. They simply don't care about the semantics of family and inter-breeding. What I want to ask though is why would you breed them? We have so many animals in shelters (which has been pointed out many times already). Get your little furry friends fixed.

In the animal world, it's a normal thing to closely breed high bred animals to keep the blood line pure. Not only can they, they do. My 8 year old black lab is from a high bloodline, but because of close breeding, he has atopic disease which is allergies and he can't have any dog food with wheat or corn in it. Steroids are also the only thing that keeps him from scratching off his fur. So breeders don't always produce animals with perfect health when they are so closely bred.

Yes. When cats get older, they don't know that another cat is related to them so they don't care and they do breed.

I don't think there's any call to be rude here. It's only a question.
Simply spay and neuter your kitties (most animal shelters will do it at low cost) and call it a day. There is no healthy reason to breed them, but they will give it a try anyway because they're only animals.

They can but u are looking at destroying the line below them. It can cause birth defects & other problems. That is why some of the more popular watch dogs become to vicious for pets. To much inbreeding. Any good breeder wouldn't do it.

Yes, but DO NOT allow this...it's very dangerous. Would you want your father to be your uncle at the same time? Imagine the gentic issues you would have with this. Would you put a kitten through this misery?
