Married to whom? To a citizen of the United States? Probably not, but every case is different. It depends on what you did to be considered for deportation in the first place. Then again, there is always marriage fraud to be considered. Did you marry a United States citixen just to become legal here, then divorce the American and import your foreign wife and kids?

Yes they can. There are many people who marry an American citizen to try and stay in this country. If the marriage is legitimate they can stay. The decision is usually based on an interview with both husband and wife. If they can show that they live together and know about each other the non native spouse can stay. This is very hard to fake. If you are offered anything to marry someone so they can stay in the country, I would think very hard. There are fraud penalties for doing this.

first of all you make sure you file your documents soon after you get married.though it is xpensive i will advise you to get a lawyer.once you file the you will have a case number and if you were approached by an ins officer, they could use that number to locate your file.staying out of criminal acts too when you file too could prevent you from being deported.but know one thing you cannot be deported simply bc you got married of course you shld not have a standing issue with the INS b4 you got married.after u file, the interview with the ins will determine if the marriage was genuine so you make sure you guys have cordinated answer, know each other like husband and wife would.make sure you guys have exiting bills, bank account prior to the interview.this will establish the basis that you guys live together.some of the most frequent questions during the interview are:
1. did your husband have bkfast this morning, what?
2.what is his cell phone number/house number?***
3.date and place of birth?
4.how and why did he come here?***
5. home adress?**
6.wat u guys have in common?***
7.wen did you guys get married?***
8.how did you guys meet?****
know a little bit abt his family like how many bros and sis he has.joint tax filing***hope all these helps.GOODLUCK

Yes, being married does not give your spouse any rights. You have to file for him/or her to become a Permanent Resident of the US to change his or her status. Dont wait until her/his I-94 is expired, because his status has now changed for nonimmigrant to illegal immigrant. This might affect him/her getting his green card, especially if you are not a citizen. For assistance go to www.emichoice.com I hope I was helpful.

if you are married and you have a pending case in immigration they will not deport you unless the INS offers a warrant.
