how does the jump shot gets executed?

First line up your shot just like any other. To be legal the cue ball must be hit above center. No left or right english , this will ruin the accuracy of the shot. Shoot down at the cue ball with your cue at a 35 to 45 degree angle , hitting it firmly , just above center. Just like you are trying to drive the cue ball into the table. It takes a lot of practice to get a successful jump but persistence will pay off. Once you get the hang of it , it gets much easier to do. GOOD LUCK.

Don't listen to these Jokers who say hit low on the cue
ball. It is not a legal shot when you dig under the ball
to get it to fly. Elevate your cue to about 45 degrees,
aim the tip at a point just above the balls center, use a
quick stroke. It helps to have a jump cue too.

you need to elevate your cue stick to at least a 45 degree angle to the cue ball and strike down at it at fairly fast speed only when the cue ball is no closer than a foot from the ball you are trying to jump be care full you can tear the cloth if miss cue, chalk up

making the ball jump by lifting it with the cue is illegal in most rules of the game

to make it jump legally you should hold the cue at least 30 degrees above vertical and strike downwards

you have gotten some great answers,don't be discouraged if it does not come easily especially on a bar table the cue balls on bar tables vs 8 or 9 ft tables is much heavier which make the jump harder..

put extra chalk on your cue.hit the bottom of the cue ball and make it fly

now bend down and place ur stick under ball just at 6 O'clock
now hit it... and see the ball flying...
