Enjoying things that you know you shouldn't be doing is like enjoying the ride as you speed along towards a cliff. You can have a lot of fun until you finally crash. If you really want to know how to overcome this habit then take about 20 minutes to listen to my Pastor teach in a series called Dead Man Walking where he goes through how a person can overcome evil desires through the power of God in their life.

Well that's why we call them guilty pleasures...yea its ok to enjoy them...in moderation. Do whatever it is that your doing once then don't do it for a few weeks or months...really no way to break it. It's just like every other bad habit they're easy to make real hard to break. Really all depends on the habit is I suppose.

Pretty much anytime we do something wrong, it's because we think we'll enjoy it. You can overcome the habit by learning that wrong things only bring temporary enjoyment, but right things bring long-lasting happiness and peace.

In my opinion, humanbeing love challanges. I would say that if the thing you want to do is legal then whats the problem. But if you want to overcome it and dont want to do it yeah its hard to do. The best thing you should do is always think abt the right things and what will be the best thing for you that you should do. Then I think will be better if you are not real stubborn and mischievous.lol

it sounds like you enjoy whatever it is, but you want to get over it cause you know you shouldn't or your conscience is weighing heavy on you. find another habit that is more healthy, which makes you feel good and is good, as opposed to feeling guilty.

My guess is that overcoming anything is possible as long as we don't regret not trying. In the meantime if it feels ok with you, you are your best critic.

if you know you shouldn't be doing it and you still are, than it has to be wrong. each time you want to do these things you will have to have a battle inside yourself. it will be very tough at first, but it will get easier. the weaker person will give in.

If it's innocent, then it's fine, like eating dirt or something. But, if it's stealing people's pets and selling them back to the owners, then no.

all men sin..it is enevitalble. as long as u are not killing robbing stealing etc... and maybe using drugs than a little bit of self indulgent activity is needed to survive.

You should enjoy it if it's not harming someone else.
