Cats, I have 4 and they go crazy for any kind of bug, they eat them (ewwwwww)… it actually kind of peculiar. That or and ex will work fine too. They seem to scare everything that’s within a 5 mile radius away.

I have no idea how this relates to this topic... but I was an exterminator for 13 years.
You first of all need to know what type of species of roach that you are dealing with. There are many different kinds of roaches out there and depending on where you live and the environment that you live in will greatly affect the way to kill them.
If you wish you may contact me privately and I will try go give you some advice.

When I was going to school in the midwest I had a few occassions to meet this little pest. One day I left a glass jar tipped over on the counter and one roach was in it when I returned. I tipped it upright and put a lid on it until I noticed the roach was not able to climb the glass, so I took the lid off. I never saw another roach again, and I looked. So perhaps they communicate somehow and he told all his friends that he could watch me prepare food, but couldn't reach any of it and they all moved out. I did this in every apartment I lived in with the same results.

destroying much of anything these days requires working from the outside in, whether it's losing weight or combating pests. What are your habits on food distribution, and general cleanliness (rooms)? If it's a complete piece of crap apartment (which nobody likes, but has to deal with), I recommend updating the aforementioned question and work on researching the plans for the building, it's history and such.
If all of that is too much to bother... traps, call roach man, and last straw find a better apartment (if you have the luxury of doing so).

Light a special pest incense in every corner of the house. Let the incense burn slowing. Close all the windows and doors, go outside for a few hours, and let the smokes do the work.
Smoking the pest is safer than burning with fire or using pest bomb, which can accidently physically hurts people when explode.

Soap. After you squish it with a blunt object squirt some dish detergent on it. Combat roach bates also work well, get both the quick kill and the source kill. If you have big roaches make sure you get the bates designed for their size.

Well, in Michigan, we have tons of earwigs. A close cousin to the roach. My dad and I found years ago, that by leaving an empty Cool Whip container with an inch of mollasses on the bottom would lure them in, but was so sticky that it would trap them and kill them. We used to leave these all over outside and would be amazed at how many we killed. *PLUS!* when we were done with them, we just had put the lid on the container and throw it out. no muss, no fuss!
hope it helps!

Call a pest control company out to spray for them. We've had plenty of them ourselves, but we signed a contract with a local company and they come every 3 months.
