Yes Animals have souls, god created them just as he created us, look into a puppies eyes, or a beloved cat etc. They have souls, just people often listen to those who think that humans are the only ones god cares for, but it isn't true. I have had several dogs, cats, mice etc and each had there own personality and soul, You could see it. When my dog brandy died in 1995 the other dogs in the home raised there heads in the air and howled a long mournful cry. YES Animals have souls!

It depends. In the scientific sense, there is no definition of what a soul could be or any proof that it could exist, in human beings or animals.

If by soul you mean 'essence', then we could say that all things have essence. But is this essence continuous? No one knows.

Enjoy the mystery!

Dogs have uncanny human characteristics. But do they think? Yes they do.

Their self-awareness is just as real as ours.

Souls are creations of religion. And as such, dogs do not "qualify".

But they do think.
