I want to make sure. That chasm seems to go on forever!

I think there is a pony on the other side...

Beliefs don't really become knowledge until we prove them to ourselves. Until then they're simply rumor and innuendo, speculation on assumptions. If not proven to yourself, be careful not to endanger yourself or others if you act on them.

If you have no knowledge of something, you will not consciously detect (see) it. We're not normally looking for what we don't know exists, but, that does not mean that things outside our limits of sensory perception don't exist.

Researchers have discovered that in ancient times when early man took to boats, he would arrive in desolate areas where the tribes had never seen or heard of boats before. These explorers stayed undetected in plain sight of the native tribes in natural harbors. They say that the only way they were recognized was by the Shamans who noticed a change in the water flow. As long as nothing recognizable appeared, they were virtually cloaked.

Many people will make the same claims about hell, saying, "I don't believe in hell." Sometimes there's a great chasm between what we believe and what is TRUE.

For instance, if I say to you, "I don't BELIEVE in trucks." What would happen if I stepped out in front of one of those Mack trucks, doing 70mph on the freeway? Do you think my "belief" would hold up to what is TRUE. The facts it, trucks exists. They are as real to us, as the reality of heaven or hell is.

Not sure if this relates AT ALL to what you were saying. But honestly, I had no idea where you were coming from anyway.

I hope to see you in heaven one day.

What kind of checking should you do? If you're driving in an unfamiliar area and you approach a bridge you know nothing about do you pull over and tap your foot on the bridge to make sure it's really there? Of course not.

Everyone takes a great deal on faith every day. You have to otherwise it would be impossible to live your life.

It depends, is it really, really high? Is it over water? It may sound strange to some but if you’re afraid of heights (as I am) & afraid of water (as I am) then I would check to make sure I don’t inadvertently burn it down, by say getting chase by a bunch of people with torches (like say, Bush) while attempting to cross said bridge.
That and is it really worth the pony? i mean, yeah ponies are great & all, but eventually you step in its poo, now that's no fun you walking around with pony poo on your shoe, and then the pony will run from you. Would you want some strange person trying to clime on you back when they have your poo on their foot? I think not, grasshopper.

if that bridges the gap to find the answer to make you believe the fact that crossing the bridge would be the correct answer to see if the pony does exist on the other side.

Is this an analogy or are you being literal? The analogy it seems to be making isn't very good.

Are you asking if you should die or not? You're not sure about an afterlife, so you're just going to life on earth forever?

Good luck with that.

Depends on the type of bridge, its appearance, condition and age. Also if you see other people crossing it successfully or not.

IF you know that you have yet to reach your destination, then you MUST cross that bridge to proceed with your journey... Do that rather than remain stagnant and end up wondering "what if...?" for the rest of your life.

Peace be with you!

no you should check. Sorry if this wasn't directed as a religious question but the bible says to make sure that things line up with the word of God. So this means to do your research.

A person always crosses that bridge when they come to it.
