Sounds like you are getting damage from being outside? You should use a good daily condition with an SPF, yes there are conditioners for this. Also, there are some vitamin supplements, folic acid is great for men and women. Also, try using a hair mask once a week x2 wks..Then once every 2wk . Then Once per month. There is a such a thing as Over conditioning your hair too. You don't want to do thateither. As far as cutting your hair, I recommend once a month. Not drastic(unless you want to). But a light trim helps the appearance of hair. Nothing like fresh looking trimmed, well managed hair.
Lastly, don't use curling irons, or too much blow drying. When ever you can.Let your hair dry naturally. The hair needs a rest at times.Hope this helps

Good products are the way to go. You get what you pay for. Go to a good salon and buy products from there. Also, getting your hair trimmed regularly is an important factor to healthy hair. Use as little heat as possible and drink a lot of water.

use moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, get a trim every 4-6 weeks(to eliminate dead and split ends), shampoo only every other day (shampooing every day can strip your hair of its natural oils, making it dry), and don't fry it every day (w/ a blow drier or curling/flat iron).
