Excuse me everyone, but in the Old Testament, the Arch Angels are referred to as "sons of God". That's just the way it is. Now, that said, they are not the "Son of God" as in Jesus Christ but they ARE referred to as such so stop slamming the guy and answer the question.
I believe that the angels were subordinate to God's earthly creation of man because man was created in God's image while the angels were not. As far as "bow down" I just don't know, but could be plausible. I'd need to see the scripture on it.

I can accept Satan was created by God. Since his source is in God he is in that view a son of God because a son does have a source in its maker. I do not find in the bible the precise words where Saran is called son of God but there is a close picture in one of the stories of Jesus.
Satan was not an angel in my opinion for I am convinced that is just a doctrine spread by individuals who don't study and by individuals who learn by rote from others. Can't find one verse that calls Satan an angel but there are verses that say angels are with him in different positions.
I am lost thought where you got the idea that Satan was to bow down to creation or to man. I find nothing that declares that man must bow to man. I do see where Mr Adam did through Eve accept the advice or instructions of the serpent [Satan later] and thus in a view bow down to Satan.

First - Satan is neither the SON of God, nor is he an Angel, He is a JINN (made from fire)
2nd - Yes, he was told to bow (not on earth but in Heavens)

Satan is a fallen angel NOT a son of God! and yes, he refused to bow down to Adam and that is why he fell from God's Grace.

Satan was created as the leader angel. He wasn't a son, Jesus was God's only Son. Yes, he (satan) did get envious of man after God created them.

That is true according to Muslim belief. Otherwise, it was Jesus who Satan refused to bow down to, not Adam and Eve, since Satan is, or was, the most perfect spiritual creation of God, since he was not begotten like Jesus.

I don't think that satan was a son of God. He was an angel. Not sure what really happened I haven't read that part yet.

No. Satan wanted God to put into mankind the need to worship God and his heavenly hosts, he even led a rebellion against God to instigate such a thing, so God being just, didn't kill them, put satan and his followers out of heaven where they can seek conformity in mankind to their hearts content. Have you noticed how well he is doing?

Satan was a angel in heaven who wanted power and to rule over all others in heaven including GOD, so GOD cast him out of heaven.
