Yes. it does. Not by name.

Good Question.

America is not found in the Bible. The word “America”, and there is a good reason for that.

Christopher Columbus left Spain and he didn't know where he was going. When he reached America, he didn't know where he was and when he got back to Spain, didn't know where he had been and that's like three-point sermon of some preachers today. God help us - but then Amerigo Vespucci came and the country was named after him, both North and South America. I'm glad we don't have to say, where are you from? - Amerigo. It’s America, but it was named after Vespucci. Now, in Revelation, we don't have a full description. We cannot go by the names of a nation because who knew that Amerigo Vespucci was going to found America, so we have to look for characteristics. Nothing in Isaiah 18, Jeremiah 50:51 and Revelation chapter 18 fit the descriptions and characteristics of Babylon, Iraq. So it's not Iraq. It is the United States of America. Let's give them a few examples.

Four different characteristics that I just gave to you. First, it's going to be a latter day Super Power.

That’s not Iraq. That's America and that's Jeremiah 50, verse 12.

Secondly, a great nation of wealth.

That’s Jeremiah 51, verse 7. In fact, when the wealth is being destroyed in Revelation chapter 18, verse 10, 17 and 19, it says, for in one hour is thy judgment come, for in one hour, so great riches has come to naught and for one hour, is she made desolate.

And a nation performing great space exploitations.

Oh, that's chapter 51 of Jeremiah, verse 53.

And lastly, a nuclear nation.

Jeremiah chapter 51, verses 53 and 58.

Among others, people believe that this in Daniel Chapter 7 is the US.

Because animal symbols are used many times to represent nations it the Bible
Eagle= US; Lion= Great Brittan; Bear= Russia; etc....

This one says that the Lion has eagles wings until they are plucked off. Then the Eagles wings are given to a man. The US has two symbols, the eagle and Uncle Sam.

That is why people say yes.

Revelations 13:11-12 talks about a "beast" increasing up out of the earth and it has "2 horns". A beast is a move or u . s . a ., in the Bible. The horns represents the way it derives its means. This beast is springing up together that the "first beast's deadly wound is healed". Now there's a concept that the Antichrist will upward thrust up out of the Catholic church. in case you seem up somewhat extra (verse a million) you come across that the first beast has risen up out of the "sea" or an element of many human beings vs the 2d which comes out of the "land" or carefully populated section. How does this tie together? u.s. changed into transforming into a rustic round 1789 which changed into the time even as the pope changed into being jailed by using Napoleon. so that you've a rustic who's springing up round a similar time that the beast (Catholic church) receives its wound. (inspect the web web site decrease than).

We live on Earth. Prophets with visions, a thousand years ahead of their lifetime....hmm....nothing is impossible...but very hard to grasp history already made itself thousands of years ago. The probability is probably 50/50.

No, but prophets described nations like ours that are built on Christian ideals as we were, but fall from that. You'll notice that as we accept other religions in this country and rebuke Christianity our country is becoming more vulnerable to outside threats.
