Very. They are very polite and respectful, which I really like in people. It's hard to find Americans with those qualities.

It all depends on how YOU treat others.
If you are rude to someone , chances are that they will be rude back.
There are no exceptions for Japanese people , they are like any other person in the world.
I have been living in Japan for 12+ years now and yes , i have met my fair share of Japanese people who are ignorant to foreigners , but those "not nice" ones are out weighed by the nicer ones.
Where ever you go in the world , you will meet nice and not so nice people.
I would have to say that the majority of Japanese people are nice and polite.

♡YES, I do. I live in Japan.
I think that just like every other country and nationality there are nice people and not nice people though. It has been my experience though after living here in Japan for almost 9 years that most people are generally nice. That includes my especially, sweet, kind... Japanese hubby!(*^o^*) Any place you go you'll meet all kinds of people. I sure hope you've met some nice Japanese people!♡

1) I don't see what this has to do with languages.
2) What's the point of generalizing a whole people as nice or not? There's nice people and nasty people from every nationality on the planet.

I think we are(I am Japanese) but you know, we came all the shapes and sizes too. There are very BAD Japanese too.
I think how we raised, we have to respect other, being polite is the key and appreciate before complain!
I am raising my 2 daughters as Japanese/American, they are very tough girls but very sensitive and appreciative, well long way to go!!

I lived in Japan for a year. The men were nice, the women were very rude to me as an American woman.

i only know one japanese girl and well she was extremly nice to me and she seemed to have the same moral values that i do and she was polite and respectful oh and she had a funny sense of humor! but this is only one person and well you cant really judge an entire race by how one person is.

I'm sure there are nice and mean Japanese. Just like any other ethnicity.
