I often see children saying their parents love them. I don't see this as a Christian thing. God loves all people, regardless of religion or lack thereof. God even loves those who hate God.

authentic christians ought to no longer be attempting to convince absolutely everyone of a few thing we take care of the religion in spite of the indisputable fact that the Bible needs no protection. no one has ever shown the bible incorrect. Act 2:40-one Then they that gladly received his be conscious were baptized: and an similar day there have been further unto them about 3 thousand souls. Act 2:40 2 and they continued stedfastly contained in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. Act 2:40 3 And concern got here across each and every soul: and many wonders and signs and indicators were finished by technique of the apostles. Act 2:40 4 And all that believed were together, and had all issues basic; Act 2:40 5 And bought their possessions and products, and parted them to all adult males, as each and every guy had pick. Act 2:40 six and they, continuing each day with one accord contained in the temple, and breaking bread from living house to living house, did devour their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Act 2:40 seven Praising God, and having favour with each and each and every of the individuals. And the Lord further to the church each day consisting of should be kept. the telling of the gospel is what saves if it doesn't ward off it is because you're content in your self or too proud to confess that God's be conscious is reality. in spite of the indisputable fact that there are purely some those who're keen to share an uncompromising gospel.

Do you tell the person you love "I love you" every day? Maybe once a week? Maybe once a month or once a year? Once a decade? Does the amount of times you speak of the love reflect how much love you feel for someone? Maybe not, but does it not at least indicate the fact that they at least are thinking about it in some way or another? I don't have to convince myself that God loves me, but I do feel speaking of the love of God is as natural as breathing, or as natural as saying to the person I love "I love you".

Usually to convince you... or the person who needs to hear it.
There are a lot of people... including myself that knows God loves me... but because we have had hard lives and were not raised with a loving family; we have a hard time grasping that love emotionally. The reason is that we may not love ourselves.. and therefore struggle to grasp God's love for us deep inside due to the pain of child abuse. While we can grasp the concept mentally... it may take a lifetime to fully accept it emotionally due to the gaping wounds on our souls from the actions of others.

Not so much as convince myself but to remind myself. Sometimes when the crap hits the fan, it gets very hard to believe that you're not alone. So you remind yourself that God loves you and is with you. When you tell another person that God loves them its a way to reassure them that someone much bigger is on their side.

We say it all the time because it is so amazing how God could love people as unworthy of His love as we are. We are nasty, vile, corrupt people who have committed horrible sins. Our own neighbors, who are nobody's themselves think we are trash, and yet an all powerful God loves us unconditionally. We are loved without earning love. Who wouldn't want to share that? The more we shout it, the more people who are in need of love will know about it, and some of them will accept that love and be brought up out of the pain and emptiness they are in. And because we love them too, we want them to know God and his love so we tell them.

Many people may call themselves "Christian" upon whom the wrath of God abides. The truth is, modern evangelistic methods have given "birth" to millions of souls who call themselves Christian, but have never repented of their sins. They responded to the message which says, "Come to Jesus because He loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life." God is NOT in LOVE with sinners. The Bible says that God's wrath abides upon anyone who has not repented and trusted in Jesus Christ for salvation.
We have all sinned, broken God's TEN COMMANDMENTS, and are desperately in need for a Savior. No one is righteous, No ONE is "good."
God clearly demonstrates HIS LOVE towards us IN THIS, that while we were yet SINNERS, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
You cannot speak of God's love, without pointing towards the cross and the reasons WHY Christ was hung. Doing so leaves one with an empty and shallow understanding of the gospel.

yup, actually christians atrted saying that god loved them to convince themselves. whenever they got to a tight corner or when they were in crisis, the said to convince themselves to uphold their faith in god that god loves them and hence will not forsake them in time of this crisis. and when they came out of the crisis, they thanked god and being grateful to him, started saying to everyone that god loved them. this is how they got to say all times that god loves them.
