How do you get your house from smelling like dog?

Bathe the dog(s) regularly. I have 3 dogs and my house doesn't smell. Just keep them clean. Dogs don't have to stink and neither does your house.

I have 3 dogs and 2 of them are in most if the time and the 3rd comes in over winter.
Keeping my home smelling good is allot of work. However I have been told that it never has a doggy odor.
I bathe my dogs biweekly in the summer and monthly in the winter unless they get exceptionally dirty, of course.
I also own a vacume cleaner with 2 filters on it. One being a hepa filter.
Then I use a dirt devil rug scrubber every few months on the carpets.
Keeping the dogs off the furniture is almost impossible at times. I make sure cushions are vacumed and sprayed with fabreeze or washed.
It is also good to air out the house on nice days and spray with an air freshener if desired.
But keeping the dogs themselves clean is the most important part of all. They are the ones that will carry the odor and distribute it through the house.

Wash your dog and keep them brushed and they won't smell. I would air out the house by opening all the windows and doors (if you have screen doors) and then use Febreze. But for Christ sake's wash your dog.

i have 3 great Danes and no dog smell! try this: get rid of all carpets, ( i put wood and tile) get rid of all upholstery( i got leather)
get rid of curtains(i got vertical blinds). the thing is smell and dust and dander clings to fabric. i got tired of it and slowly re did everything. (took 10 years) but it worked! :)
