Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord, you God, He is the One who goes with you.
Psalm 37:3 - Trust in the Lord; 37:7 Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him
There are countless scriptures that teach patience. Remember God's timing is perfect and He nevers makes mistakes or gets caught off guard. He knew the plan for your life before you were ever conceived.

That is not a passage of scripture; however,
Patience is a quality of a Christian
Jam 1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
Jam 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
Longsuffering is a fruit of the spirit
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Gal 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

That exact phrase is not in the Bible. There are things that are similar, as one of my favorite scriptures.
Isa 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint

The saying, “good things come to those who wait” isn’t in the Bible, for good reason. Maybe that’s why Abraham Lincoln said, “Things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle.”

I believe it may be refering to Lamentations 3:25...many bible verses get altered in secular use.
" The Lord is Good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him" ( Lam 3:25, KJV)

That's not in the Bible. It's either a witty folk saying or a quote from a famous writer (Shakespeare?).

Matthew 5:5 (NIV) says "Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth."
This has also been translated as "Blessed are the gentle" (NASB) and even as "Blessed are the patient..." (AMP)
So, the patient will inherit the earth; i.e. "good things come to those who wait."

This might be what you are referring to.
Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
