when I drove each and every of the time, I had a 1988 Chevy Beretta. It were given wonderful gas mileage although i am going to't provide the numbers. The more moderen autos that I drove after that (a Buick Skylark and a Nissan Altima) were not as reliable mileage smart. *ok, I merely figured it out. possibly the Beretta did not get 'wonderful' gas mileage even though it changed into about 25-32 mpg even as it changed into about 10+ years previous. not undesirable for a motor vehicle that changed into outfitted really sturdy.

The car I drive most is my '92 Honda Civic VX; I get ~45 mpg running back and forth to work, and 50+ on trips. The old family wagon that I've kept for hauling duties ( a '91 Toyota Camry wagon with the 2.5 liter V6 ) gets about 22 tooling around and 28 or so on trips.

I am not really sure what the mileage is on my 1996 Buick Regal but my Chevy Lumina Mini Van (yeah I am a mom) gets about 20 in town and 24 on the freeway.
Here is a true story: I was on my way to work one day - speeding when I was pulled over by an officer. The officer went through the motions and then asked me why I was speeding. I looked at him and told him, "My boyfriend says it saves gas mileage." The officer then looked at me, handed my stuff back to me, and then laughed and said have a nice day. I guess there is always a dumb way to get out of ticket.

1989 Ford F150 Xcab 2 wheel drive Triton V8 50th Anniversary Edition...10-12 miles per gallon but this truck runs great. The only better vehicle I have owned was a 1977 Toyota Celica GT liftback.

15 mpg at best if I drive my 87 Bronco at 55mph on the freeway. 21 mpg in wife's Explorer on the highway. And right at 49 mpg (very best-not always) in my modified Rabbit diesel pickup.
Incidentally, 62 mpg from a Hyundai Accent is astounding. Since every other person on the planet seems to be able to get no more than 35 mpg on the freeway with any Accent.

2005 Subaru Impreza RS. I get about 23-28 miles to the gallon. It's four wheel drive, and the best car I've ever owned.
