Gee, I guess those 24,000 manuscripts of the New Testament alone (some within a generation of Jesus' resurrection) don't qualify...

Oh! And the Dead Sea Scrolls that confirmed that the Masoretic Text was accurate, even though it had been written 1000 years later, doesn't either.

Don't forget! The Septuagint that was translated from the Hebrew to the Greek before Jesus was born must not count either.

Sigh.

No, what's sad is that you don't have salvation through faith in Christ and you have nothing better to do than to quibble over whether or not Christians know a special "name" for the Word of God may He be blessed forever, amen.

The first five books of the Bible have been called the Pentateuch or the Torah, and the Jews have other names for different portions like the Prophets or Poetry or Wisdom books. The Bible is God's Word to mankind and having some special "name" to attach to that doesn't add one iota to the incomparable riches of this gift from Him.

As to having the original language, I have the original language right here on my computer with the KJV with Strong's numbers. Also the Bible has more historical support for the accuracy of what we have today than any other book that's more than a few hundred years old.

I'm a Christian. The Bible is a word that simply means books. We have books that are also included in the hebrew scriptures which we call the old testament. And what we call the New Testament is a collection of early first century letters, sermons, gospels and apocalyptic books. The Hebrew scriptures were weritten in Hebrew which I have studied. The New Testament was written in Greek which many Christians, including myself, read. Hope that answers your question. I don't think it's sad at all.

Well, your question is a little hard to understand because of your wording.

"neither they have the original language of the Bible?"

I won't just assume what you meant because you know what is said about that. Anyway, if you want to try to reword your question maybe I'll try to give you an INTELLIGENT answer.

What's really sad is that so many people hold up THE bible as the true word of god, when it is actually a bunch of stolen ideas from a bunch of other religions all cobbled together.

My salvation is not based on if I know what language when where or why.

I know Jesus Christ. Period. :)

Get over it. I suggest you do likewise my friend.

If you have this knowledge of what and how. Too bad your going to miss out, because you have first hand scoop. Right? You do have first hand scoop?
