If Noah's Ark was found then that would be proof positive that such an awesome event did occur. An absolute that the Bible is the Truth. How would the world react do you think? Would you change and get serious about God and Heaven (or hell)>

I think it would provide a lot of chatter, and quite a few TV specials about how such a massive vessel was able to have 2 of every species on it and yet only be built by a small number of people. But ultimatly it would prove nothing except a large ark was built. Isnt there some rock of some kind that Muslims believe fell from space with a man in it. Very obscure reference but the fact is, Noah's ark does not exist, and even if it did, it would only become another tourist attraction

What's so ridiculous here is that - the boat was made of wood. HELLOOOOOO!!!!! Also, the bible itself contains different accounts of the flood story. Also, many cultures have flood stories (humans like to live near water!)

Beyond that, consider this:

Number one - it is physically impossible for all the known species of the world, or even Noah's region, to have fit on a boat for which the dimensions are known. Also, the bible says Noah sacrified a lot of these animals after they ran aground, so how did they repopulate the earth? If you are a fundamentalist and have trouble accepting dinosaurs, how did the dinos get on the ark? how did noah get animals who don't live in the middle east? how did noah feed all those animals? how did noah separte the predators from the prey? did you know that noah curses his youngest son for noticing that he was drunk and passed out and said his son's descendants would be black and be slaves?

Number two - despite the above information, the american CIA spent tens of thousands searching for the ark.

Number three - even if the ark was found, hello, we already know there were floods. It would tell us absolutely nothing, zero, zip, about the existance of God. And since a pagan culture in the middle east also had a tale of a king following god's instructions to build a boat to survive a flood, are you sure which God would be 'proven' by Noah's ark being discovered? If the Christian God, why does this omniscient being need a rainbow in the sky to remind him not to flood everyone again? And why is a tsunami okay to god, but not a global flood? Yikes, folks!

How about getting serious about life on earth and stop pretending there is a bearded man in the sky who cares at all about you. (Or who will drown you like a dog if you cross him.)

I think there is proof, they have been there and taken pictures, enough that we know it's true.

I think it would help the unbelievers to realize there is a God, but that was old testimate, so that doesn't mean they will believe in Jesus, so they could still be lost even if they knew Noahs ark was real.

But I think over time, all these things will appear that are in the bible and will ultimately prove that the whole bible is true, but at that time, it will be too late for those people, they will have already worshiped the anti-christ.

I answer this question as someone raised in a religious background, and who now finds himself uncontrollably falling more and more, though I know in my heart Jesus is the only way.

Noah's Ark is a popular tale, so much so that it is found in many other religions and teachings. If a boat is found and it has similar characteristics to Noah's Ark, which religion does it solidify? All of them, none of them, if one religion, say Christianity, why just that one and not the others.

I want you to know I am not answering this question in any tone to be a smartass, I really do believe in Jesus and I wonder why I can't tap into the deep well of faith I know I have. But at the same time, even with the limited knowledge I have of religions, it is unfair to question other religions and not give the same level of scrutiny to your own.

I don't think that tangible proof of Noah's Ark would make a whole lot of difference to the world. There is pretty good proof that the Garden of Eden existed in the area of southern Persia (what we now call "Iraq"), and it has not made much difference to anyone. The past is behind us and often so vague to the un-instructed that it is of no consequence. Hence, so many lost souls looking for themselves (sometimes not!) in shallow and superficial places/things. There are tenets of the Bible that are a help to us all who heed their message. "Love thy neighbor as thyself...", etc.And the example of Jesus is full of lessons of love and tolerance, however, many so-called Christians are the most bigotted and intolerant people you could meet. We don't have to search for the proof of such nebulous stories in the face of monumental characters like Jesus. Belief in yourself as an agent for positive change--that you are a Child of God along with those you encounter daily--will simply work miracles in your lives. Harambee--Pull Together!

It might be helpful to understand that there were many ancient cultures (from before the Bible) that talked about a great flood, not just the Bible folks. It’s quit feasible a devastating flood took place, I’m not sure of the scale of it but as the old saying goes, “Tomatoes, Tama toes.”
It might interest you to know thet found some type of wreckage believed to be of that Ark see the link below.

People would not change. In Luke 16: 19-31 Jesus tells the parable of the rich man and Lazarus. The rich man dies and goes to hell and begs that someone could be sent back from the dead that his relatives would believe. Abraham says that if they did not believe Moses or the prophets then nothing will convince them. The morale of the story is that there is enough evidence out there already and people chose not to believe nothig will chang this. Sorry for the long answer.

never going to happen, how can you honestly believe a senior citizen built a boat big enough for every animal, sailed all around the globe collected animals, was the sole survivor of the cataclysmic floods(that Christianity believes created mountains, separated Pangaea, killed dinosaurs ect.) repopulated the planet(no DNA to support this) all 6000 years before any other civilization was capable of cross-ocean travel?Good answer blame the skeptics and their logical time lines, fossil records, DNA evidence. I might as well believe in fairies and unicorns while I'm at it.There is no truth in the bible, faith is a poor substitute for reason and science.

If noah's ark was found, or proof of it. It would Immediatly be under attack by every sceptic on the planet, and the Government would never allow us to know about it, they would deny it like they do everything else.
