I clicked on someones link and it took me to youtube and there was the flag of Mexico above the American flag, but the American flag was upside down, what was the meaning of that?? For me it was a sign of disrespect and pretty much a slap in the face, but I want to know what they were trying to convey with that message, anyone know???

That America is defeated as a country to Mexico - the very extreme of what you see it as. It has become an unspoken symbol of our fight.
By itself, without another flag, being flown upside down, is legal usage - it means we are in distress.

I doubt the people who did it knew what it meant. Just from the fact that they flew another flag on top, they clearly meant it as an insult.
The fact is that it is a symbol of distress, and could warn returning forces that plague or attack or some major distress was present before the troops entered the gate.
Ironically, the flag upside down was perfectly appropriate.
It being under the Mexican flag was not.

Like here in Lebanon they sell all the flags in the world cup. But the american flag all over was upside down. It means u r antigoverment to the flag that u put upside down. Also distress call,but i see it more anti-goverment.

An upside down american flag means distress. I have also seen it used to convey that our country is in distress. Not disrespectful though.

Traditionally an upside-down american flag is a distress signal... but it is also a form of protest.

I posted the same question yesterday , It is not being used as a distress signal in the picture, it is being flown underneth a Mexico flag....this is ment as a formof disrespect . Disrespect from the Hispanics towards the Americans . can not be seen as any thing else .

to fly the flag upside down is not a sign of disrespect...
