Actually most follow the teachings of Peter and to a lesser degree Paul and John.

Peter and to a lesser degree Paul started what is now the Catholic Church and John was involved a little.

Most of the new Testiment is often Peter, who basically authored Romans, Corinthians, etc.

These were letters to the followings in the "churches" in those areas.

I personally don't think he's a very good example to follow and I stick to the "commonalities" of the Disciples about what Jesus said.

I'm a follow of Jesus, not his Disciples.

I don't follow the church of Peter or Paul or John.

We follow the teachings of God and Christ which men like John, Peter, Paul, James, Matthew, Mark, and Luke were kind enough to write down for us so that we can all have access to God's Word and follow it - if we choose to! :)

It is foolish to follow the teachings of a mere man, as all men are not perfect and all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God!

Jesus "Never" sinned, and hHe has power over life and death.

His bones are absent from the grave!

This is what God's word has to say about it;

1 Corinthians 1:12-13
What I mean is this: One of you says, "I follow Paul"; another, "I follow Apollos"; another, "I follow Cephas"; still another, "I follow Christ."

Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you?
