Live your life according to what you believe! Lead by example. Try your best to lead a Christian life, and soon you will have lots of people trying to emulate you. But be honest above all else. Be Christian in all that you do, both in word and deed.

Prayer is always the first step, but understanding what Jesus asked when he set forth the "The Great Commission". Not only are we to preach and teach but to witness too. God has purposed each of our lives. Our job is to understand that purpose through prayer and fasting if needed and to be receptive to the Holy Spirit so we can be discerning and good witnesses.

We can be forwarding this by the way we live our lives and the example we set so others see and know as they will know we are Christians by our love.

What we need to know is how we can reach the unreachable? What makes someone accessible and open to receiving Jesus? This can be done through our daily interactions, the support we show for others in their time of need and the discernment we get from the Holy Spirit so that we may speak truth into their lives.

It is happening but what you may be asking is what is your part? It seems insignificant but even this question forwards the work that Jesus commissioned us all to do, Have faith and be of good cheer.

God Bless

Which Christians aren't going out into the world and teaching and helping people like the Bible says to?

Most of the Christians I know are members of charitable org.s and/or tutors.

Faith without works is dead faith. If you have faith you will have works to show it.

A unified message would be a good start. Sometimes I really wonder if the Church could ever come together as the Bride of Christ. Denominations and interdenominational bickering are one of the largest impediments to the Church making a significant impact on the world around us. (And yes, I do know that in the end the Church will be unified)

Jesus told his deciples that by their example would others join them, after he returned from the grave. So how does witnessing and converting others set an example? It doesn't, your following false doctrine. Albeit, so you learned this from others within your church who follow some character other than Jesus and thus this makes it right? I was sitting down town one night and abunch of children came by in chains and signs that declared their points of view. When they stopped because some of my friends began to heckle them, which is what they wanted, I asked one what kind of example he represented and he went on about how everyone is in chains and how his faith family can set us free. I looked at him and asked him if I looked like I was some kind of prisioner, that perhaps his message was going to the wrong people, that I am neither chained nor downtrodden and I will take offense at anyone claiming such idiocy about strangers. So what will you do, if you mis-judge someone, in your glee to convert the world, who is crazy, not just offended? The movie, The texas Chainsaw Murders, was about real people, would your pamphlets protect you?

When every Christian is perfectly sinless. Even though we are Christians not all of us take the responsiblity of a Christian and go out there spreading the word.

Some of us are already doing that. I am afraid that the majority of "Christians" will never do any more then fill a pew or chair on Sunday morning, if even that often.

You are soo right. I think it is because a lot of us lack faith in our knowledge, and when the question of God comes up, we are afraid to say something wrong and steer a person away.

I try to be an example, and always given God credit when I'm asked how I've done certain things that I have done in my life. I try to spread the word in all I do! God Bless
