God is our creater!

The idea that God created the world and life is often thought to have been disproved by evolutionary theory. Is there any scientific evidence for creation?

The truth is that the scientific evidence overwhelmingly supports creation. Let me attempt to point out just some of this evidence here. First, the scientific community is now almost unanimous in affirming that the universe had a beginning. This is usually referred to in scientific terms as “The Big Bang Theory.” Of course, this implies that someone or something brought the universe into existence.

Secondly, the universe bears all the marks of having been “finely tuned” to make life possible. For example, the elementary forces of gravity, electromagnetism, and the atom are precisely what they need to be. The earth’s size, distance from the sun, rotational period, composition, and many other factors are all just right. The chances of there being even one planet where all of these factors converge by accident are very slim indeed.

Thirdly, the evidence is mounting that life on earth simply could not and did not come into existence through natural processes in a primordial “soup.” For example, the experiments to prove that it could have happened are suspect because little progress has been made possible due to the ingenious designs on the part of experimenters.

Fourthly, the genetic code of all biological life on earth contains evidence of intelligent design. This is because the genetic code contains information comparable to the information in complex computer programs as well as information in books.

Fifthly, the fossil record continues to be an embarrassment to the Darwinian theory of evolution. The many transitional forms which Darwin predicted would be found simply have not surfaced. This fact has forced evolutionists to modify Darwin’s Theory, often in absurd ways. In short, it is the theory of naturalistic evolution which is in serious trouble scientifically today, while the Biblical teaching of creation never looked better

In Jesus' name.....

If we just happened by chance, then the planets must have been aligned or something because things really happened in our favor. I believe that there is a creator who made us exactly how he wanted, but there could be a chance that we are a happy accident, and if we are, we are some lucky s.o.b.'s because we live in a beautiful amazing world. Thak you for asking this question in sucha polite way, and not attacking other peoples beliefs one way or the other. Many people here will throw cheap shots at religion, but your doubt is a polite one, and i am greatful for that.

God bless you, and may you live your life in peace.

To figure this out you first need to figure out how you think about the world around us.

Mathematics defines infinity as limitlessness. So when infinity is present the possibility exists of anything happening, no matter how complex.

If you believe that anything in the natural world is infinite, (such as the universe or time) then in all that time or space it is possible that something even as complex as human beings and the world around them could have happened by chance.

I happen to believe that time is infinite (although I am not yet completely convinced of this) so therefore it is quite possible that this all happened by chance. However, in a truly infinite situation the possibilities are also equally likely that this was all created by a god- any of them.

Here's an experiment. Take a good wrist watch apart piece by piece. Place it in a shoe box. Put the lid on the box or leave it off. Now shake the box. How long before all of the pieces get put back together on their own? Now what are the chances that all of the beauty and complexity that you see around you, and our ability to enjoy it, all happened by itself by chance. No way, Jose.

It could be both. A creator/creatrix could've made "the universe," the big bang and all that, set up the laws of physics and the energy connections between atoms, and then left things to jumble around on their own, and let life evolve.

I'm always baffled by people who think creation and evolution are mutually incompatible.

A creater is a big hole in the Moon.

A creator is one who made us and yes, I can't beleive I'm a Monkey's Nephew and that we crawled randomly out of the slime.

Are you a Monkey's neice?

Creator

It takes more faith to believe that we happened by chance, than to believe that we were Created. After all, who made your wrist watch? Would you deny that persons existance. Of course not, for that would be absurd. In order to have a creation, there has to be a Creator, and in order to have a design, there has to be a designer.

Not chance alone. Evolution requires selective pressures (reproductive success) acting on random variations in individuals. The key is that these pressures shift multiple ways based on changes in environment over time.
