I don't understand why some people don't believe that all animals go to heaven. They have a heart beat like humans and they do have souls.
When an animal passes away they want to cross over fast. Sylviabrowne.com

I believe they do go to heaven. I believe dogs are angels sent here to teach us! To stand by us through thick and thin. To love us unconditionally!

Even the abused animal forgives it master just from a simple pat on the head....

So said I've seen too much abuse of animals I can't take it!
In fact I deal with a neighbor every day - I call her animals disposable pets! One dies of neglect, just replace it. Especially if not a pup ....

I read a good line about this in the book "Planet Dog: A Doglopedia". To summarize, a survey was conducted by Dog Fancy magazine, and they put the question to various religious leaders on whether or not all dogs will go to heaven. My favorite statement was the following:
"Heaven was designed for humans. The reason dogs may be there is for us, not for themselves. Dogs will go to heaven perhaps because of our relationship with them. I would think a loving God wants us to be happy and allows us to have animals that shared love with us." Rev. Brian T. McSweeney, vice chancellor of the New York archdiocese.

I'm with you on animals having souls, but I'm no believer in any of Sylvia Browne's psychic powers. Even though my religion (Catholicism) claims that animals don't have a soul, I think that every loved animal deserves to go to Heaven.

I say "loved" though, because without that little clause, we'd have every animal that has ever died running around in Heaven! Somehow I'm not picturing any mosquitos to be making it up there... but if one mosquito were loved by a human, since love is a reflection of God's love toward creation, the mosquito would be "saved" so to speak. Don't you think? =)

Catholic doctrine is rather quiet about the subject.

However the book of Revelation chapter 5 verse 13 states, "Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, everything in the universe, cry out: "To the one who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor, glory and might, forever and ever."

This sounds like every creature is praising Jesus.

With love in Christ.

no! all living things have a particular energy that they have like some light that is shining from within. if a living thing gives out positive energy then it goes to heaven. otherwise it will go to hell. there is always two directions. not just one direction

Even killer dogs? The kind that ripped the life out of a child?
