everytime i try to play a game on my pc it restarts my computer. but then there are parts of the game i can play without any problems. ? is when my pc starts back up it says something about my video adapter device not working and i need to update it. is there any way to update it by downloading a new one from the internet or do i have to buy an actual video drive for my computer.

ok.... you ether have a virus or you r computer has to be updated...obviously!!!!

o and yes you may have to buy a whole new video drive. orrrrr.... STOP PLAYING THE FREAKING GAME!!!!

You will need to update your video drivers (the software that communicates between the graphics chipset and the rest of your computer). Please call the manufacturer of your computer for assistance if you are unsure of which graphics chipset are within your computer.

Also, if you have the Intel Graphics chipset, many games will not support them and you'd find that info on the outside of the box the game came in.

Further, once you have your video drivers squared away and have assured that you have a compatible graphics chipset, go and get any patches available for the game from the game publisher's website.

try updating your device driver for video adapter first before replacing the hardware.......just look for the make/model of that card and go to its website or try drivers.com
