Not really. And ignore Judith R. It's most likely depression, and that's not something you can just snap out of. Talk to your doctor or someone you trust and see if they can recommend a counselor, or if your doctor thinks a prescription would be right for you.

Not exactly, but if you are crying every single night, then it's a problem you have within you, which you can fix. Are you unhappy? Happiness is a choice. Do you wallow in self-pity? Self-pity doesn't get you anywhere or make you any happier. You feel purposeless or like a bad person? Find true religion (Christianity.) I don't know why it is that you are sad and your sadness may take a while to vanish, but I hope you are happy soon. I used to get depressed and cry more than I'd have liked to. I usually found that once I stopped thinking about myself as much and just trying to do better life got better. I'm no where near perfect myself though and sometimes sadness still comes.

Tears do contain stress hormones, so perhaps crying helps the body getting rid of them.
However, I do not think it is a desirable or natural thing to be so depressed that you cry yourself to sleep each night. You should definitely talk to your doctor about it, and try to do something about it....What makes you so sad?

No -- I don't even remember the last time I cried myself to sleep. If it's happening so frequently for you, something is really wrong. You need to tell someone, and try to get some help.

Don't worry, it will pass, sweetie! I had that when I was 14, 15, 16... too. But now I'm fine. Tears are good for your eyes. Just when you do cry at night - remember - there is always someone who loves you!!!

Um, well it's physically healthy sort of, because crying actually releases harmful toxins in your body.
But as for mentally healthy, no sweety!
Please go talk to someone about this!
Have a nice day, ok? :)

Its depression or you're too stressed up.
(1) Channel some energy into doing exercise, it helps to de-stress. It can be anything, brisk walk, window shopping, housework whatever.
(2) Give yourself a boost in nutrition, good nutrition can help fight stress.

No, been there and done that and still struggling. You are probably suffering from a deep depression. It'll be okay, keep your head up and keep fighting.

no....but that isnt your question, and i couldnt guess what it is. when you feel like sleeping, just see a person holding you with a kind smile, who knows how you feel....it wont help you sleep, but will let you no you aren't alone.
