Patron isn't meant for shooting or mixing. Lemon, salt, and tabasco are for cheap, poor quality tequilas. The best way to drink nice tequilas, the authentic way anyway, is to chill it as cold as possible and sip it like you would a scotch.
If you want a mixing or shooting Tequila with all the training wheels, get Cuervo.

Oh NO - Patron is not meant for shots. This is a high quality tequila meant for sipping. If you want to do shots, save your money and get cuevo.

patron is good tequila and really shouldnt be mixed... but if you really need an easy chaser for tequila Squirt soda works well. its called a "paloma" in Spanish
